KETAMINE-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY

A New Path to Healing

Innovative treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and treatment-resistant conditions

What Is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is an innovative, evidence-based treatment that combines the therapeutic effects of ketamine — a legally prescribed medication — with the support of psychotherapy. Together, they create a powerful opportunity for deep healing and lasting change.

Ketamine has been used safely in medical settings for decades. In recent years, research has demonstrated its remarkable effectiveness in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions that have not responded to traditional treatments. When paired with skilled psychotherapy, the results can be transformative.

Telehealth KAP is available to clients in Indiana, Arizona, and Minnesota — in addition to in-person and telehealth services throughout Ohio.

How KAP Works

01

Initial Consultation

We begin with a thorough assessment to determine whether KAP is appropriate for you. This includes a review of your mental health history, current symptoms, and treatment goals. We partner with Journey Clinical to ensure medical oversight and eligibility.

02

Preparation Sessions

Before your KAP session, we meet to establish trust, set intentions, and prepare you emotionally and mentally. This groundwork is essential to maximizing the therapeutic benefits of the experience.

03

The KAP Session

Ketamine is administered in a safe, comfortable setting under medical supervision. During the session, I provide therapeutic support, helping you navigate and process whatever arises. Sessions typically last 2–3 hours.

04

Integration Therapy

After your KAP session, we meet for integration therapy — the process of making meaning from your experience and translating insights into lasting change. This is where the deepest healing often occurs.

Conditions KAP May Help

  • Treatment-Resistant Depression
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Chronic Pain with Psychological Components
  • Grief and Loss
  • Existential Distress
